Assistant Gymnastics Coach

Bio

We are thrilled to welcome Chynna Hibbitts, a proud native of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, to the Wilberforce family as our new Dean of Students and Assistant Gymnastics Coach. 

Chynna brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role, holding a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Sport Administration from the University of Louisville and a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky's J. David Rosenberg College of Law.

Her passion for gymnastics began at a young age, when she eagerly watched every Olympics from 1992 onward. A USAG Men’s and Women’s judge, Chynna is also certified by NGA, AAU, NCATA, and NCAA. Her coaching experience includes time at Excel Gymnastics in Richmond, KY, and she has also been instrumental in guiding young athletes through the recruiting process, thanks to her expertise in NIL and compliance.

Chynna is deeply grateful and excited for the opportunity to be part of Wilberforce University’s inaugural gymnastics program, and we can’t wait to see the impact she will make on our students and athletes.
