Matthew Ladd-Wright pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for the Bulldogs. The righty surrendered four hits and four runs while, striking out none and walking four. Parker Geshan began the game for the Bulldogs. They surrendered six hits and six runs over two innings, striking out none and walking one. Ahsaan Henson began the game for the Maroon Tigers. The right-handed pitcher allowed eight hits and four runs over five innings, striking out three and walking two. Wilberforce amassed 11 hits in the game. Marques Smith, Beau Spears, Julien Patton, and Mendy each collected two hits for the Bulldogs. Woodson went 1-for-3 at the plate as they led the team with three runs batted in. Morehouse amassed 12 hits in the game. Greene and Lee Hodges III each collected three hits for the Maroon Tigers. Greene drove the middle of the lineup, leading the Maroon Tigers with five runs batted in. They went 3-for-4 on the day. Robinson and Thorpe each collected multiple hits for the Maroon Tigers. Elijah Pinckney paced the Maroon Tigers with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. The Maroon Tigers stole five bases in the game.
